Purpose

  1. To share why Superwoman is a myth!
  2. To share my personal journey of having a Career I love and being the Mum I want to be
  3. To share how you can create more calm, joy and fun in your family routines... in less than 10 minutes a day!

Background

In 2013, I was stressed and burnt out, I just didn’t realise it. I was managing a demanding National Corporate Health Care role from Adelaide, which had significant impact on my young family and my own health. Outwardly: Superwoman! Inwardly: Superfraud.

I was feeling unfulfilled, empty, lost, confused and stuck. I was striving to find solutions externally and doing “more” because I deeply wanted to “make a difference”. Promotions, Board work, dreaming of starting my own business… it went on and on!

Many friends would say "I don't know how you do it!", because outwardly, things looked great... but I felt like such a fraud because I didn't think I was doing anything well! Not at work, in my relationship, with my kids and certainly not within myself. The worst part - I didn't know what I wanted!

One significant event was the stimulus to take an audit of my career and life and start the journey back home to myself.
